RETURN OF THE ANCESTORS BY SARAH MANNOUCH
Echoes of murky voices, a lost love, a dream, lost in the mists of Avalon, The waters shimmer and gleam. The energies and mysteries may never be resolved, It carries on in bardic tales and folk lore of old. Beneath the depths and caverns deep , a dragon sleeps and dreams, of two dragons gone before both on different teams, both been called to war to fight For Britons king, a battle blazed and life was cut by the sword he did swing. The victorious winner with dragon of red Pendragon leads this band, a noble man born to be king once asleep in this land.... But now he's back fighting again, for truth and justice bold, teacher of the ancient lore and honor to behold. RETURN OUR ANCESTORS Their graves lay bare! screams his battle cry, "taken" to please the toffs? We will stand and fight! For peace and truth and light, not for money or gold, to return the honored dead to their beds of old. Warband stand at his side his knights protect the word, Oaths are sworn at the stones where their voices can be heard. bY SARAH MANNOUCH |
The tale of me and Melusine By sarah mannouch The waters are warm and murky, as i swim along the stream. Following a trail of voices, in search of melusine. I come into a clearing, a misty clear blue lake. that's steamy and scattered, with herbs of different shapes. Lavender and borage, marigold and rose, floating in the water, ensnaring my nose. The mists get no clearer, The voices echo and sing Ancient mother i hear you i feel you within I look below the water, and what do i see? A golden green tail where my legs used to be I try to leave the water but i'm pulled down below I open my eyes and realise im in bed, all alone. |
